Shawn Severance, a Parks Naturalist for Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation Commission, will present the "History of Parker Mill."

Located at 4650 Geddes Road, east of Dixboro Road in Ann Arbor, the Mill is a well-preserved example of a small-scale grist mill operation once common in Michigan. Parker Mill County Park, together with the City of Ann Arbor's Forest Park, is a 45-acre tract of mostly wooded land that encompasses the tail end of Fleming Creek, including its mouth, where it joins the Huron River.
The mill and nearby Parker House were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
