The Art of Ikebana: Making Flowers Come Alive
Have you seen a floral arrangement appear to come alive? It can happen through Ikebana, the ancient art of Japanese flower arranging. Learn about this art form and observe a live demonstration by presenters Liz Larwa and Terre Voegeli, Associate Masters in the Ichiyo School. Liz and Terre will share the history of Ikebana, from its classical origins to present day avant-garde styles, and highlight differences between Ikebana and Western floral arranging.
