About this event

Buhr Park Wet Meadows Project—Kids and Neighbors Making a Difference

Speakers:
Jeannine Palms, Preschool teacher of 38+ years, Buhr Park Steward through the Natural Areas Preservation of Ann Arbor Parks and member of the Cobblestone Park Market, and Andy Brush, longtime Buhr Park steward

Description:

The three wet meadows in Buhr Park were each designed and planted years ago and are now maintained by kids, neighbors and other volunteers. The meadows keep stormwater in the park and create beautiful habitats for native plants, pollinators and critters. Jeannine Palms and Andy Brush will share how it all began and contributes to the legacy of Buhr Park.
