Member Meeting - 2024 Garden Walk Kick-Off

2024 Garden Walk Kick-Off March 14 at Gladwin Center

Brown-bag lunch or preorder a Panera sandwich

It’ll be here before we know it – Garden Walk day! Farm & Garden’s signature community fundraising event is set for Saturday, June 8 from 10 am to 4 pm. Once again, Pat Stejskal and Loni Lutter, event chairs, have put together a winning lineup of local private gardens and farms. Get the first look at all the locations at our March 14 monthly meeting, and identify the way(s) you can contribute to Garden Walk success.

This is an “all hands on deck” event – we’ll get the big picture on March 14. Pat and Loni will describe the variety of tasks open to volunteers. From stuffing envelopes to distributing postcards to staffing a ticket table on the day, there are a variety of ways you can help that fit the time you have available.

We’ll gather at the Gladwin Conference Center (barn) at 11:30 am and start with lunch. You can bring your own brown-bag lunch, or purchase a Panera sandwich combination for $13. Coffee, tea, and LaCroix will be offered.

Members, please register by midnight, Monday, March 11. You have two options on the registration page:

No sandwich order -- check the $0 item.
Sandwich order -- check the $13 item. You'll be prompted to select the type of sandwich and then make payment.
