February Meeting: "Attracting Pollinators with Native Bushes and Trees"
Speaker:  Brittany Leick, Program Coordinator, Detroit Bird Alliance

Founded in 1939 as Detroit Audubon, the Detroit Bird Alliance protects birds and their habitats by engaging people, communities, and policymakers in conservation. Their work supports local activities that foster the preservation of birds and the clean air, water, wetlands, grasslands, woodlands and other natural resources upon which they depend to survive and thrive. A chapter of the National Audubon Society, DBA has 6,000 members and offers a wide range of birding trips, tips, and resources.

 

Members, please register here for lunch ($20) and the program, or program only, by midnight, February 6th. Doors open at 11:30 am; lunch is at noon; the presentation begins at 1 pm.

Guests of AAF&G members are welcome to attend the presentation at no cost (registration required). Members, you can register your guest here for lunch ($20) and/or the presentation only. Doors open at 11:30 pm. Please register by midnight, February 6th.

Non-AAF&G members are welcome to attend the program for a $5 admission fee. All funds support Ann Arbor Farm & Garden’s annual garden-related grant and scholarship awards. Doors open at 12:30 pm. Please register by midnight, February 6th.

Menu - Build Your Own Salad Bar: Baby field greens and romaine salad with a selection of grilled chicken breast, tuna salad, assorted garden vegetables, cheddar and cottage cheese, croutons, fruit salad, and beverage station with coffee, hot tea, and iced tea. $20

ANN ARBOR FARM AND GARDEN LUNCH POLICY
Effective January 1, 2025
Prepayment for all lunches must be made, either via the website or by check, by the registration deadline. For monthly meetings, the registration deadline is usually one week prior. The registration deadline for special events will vary and will be specified in the description.

Checks must be sent to AAFG, P.O. Box 354, Dexter, MI 48130 and be postmarked by the registration deadline. No refunds can be made because of illness or inability to attend. No lunches can be ordered “at the door.” All members are welcome to enjoy tea or coffee and desserts without charge.
